I am planning to buy this morning, the GPS and I need to know if I download updates from the Garmin Web site (if the GPS is connected via USB), I'll pay anything for it? Is it free? I've heard that some GPS, you have to pay for improvements.

If I have to pay, how much does it cost for the new one?
